Third announcement and extended deadline for abstracts of the 7th Mexican &
1st Pan-American Coral Reef Congress

To date we have had a very good response in terms of number of abstracts
submitted, but there were also many collegaues who asked for an extension
in the abstracts reception period. We want every one of you joining us in
the Congress!. So we have implemented an extension to the abstracts
reception deadline until May 15th. Don’t be left out, send yours today!

The 7th Mexican & 1st Panamerican Coral Reef Congress will be held in the
city of Merida in Yucatán Mexico, from October 8th to the 11th, 2013.
Mérida is the capital city of the Yucatan state, is the most important city
in southeastern Mexico, and it is rated as the safest city in the Nation.
The Yucatan Peninsula is world-renown by its hospitality, ancient Mayan
culture (archaeological site Chichen-Itza has been declared as a world
heritage center by UNESCO), traditions (folklore, gastronomy, music) and
natural scenery (important component of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef
System).

Tercer anuncio y prórroga para envío de resúmenes para el 7mo Congreso
Mexicano y 1er Congreso Panamericano de Arrecifes Coralinos.

A la fecha hemos tenido una buena respuesta en cuanto al número de
resúmenes envíados, pero también hemos tenido muchas solictudes de
extensión de las fechas de recepción. Queremos que todos ustedes nos
acpompañen en el Congreso! Por lo tanto hemos decidio implementar la
extensión al período de recepción de resúmenes hasta el 15 de Mayo. No te
quedes fuera y manda el tuyo hoy!

El 7mo Congreso Mexicano y 1er Congreso Panamericano se realizará en la
ciudad de Mérida, Yucatán, México del 8 al 11 de octubre de 2013. Mérida es
la capital del estado de Yucatán, es la ciudad más importante del sureste
mexicano, y ha sido nombrada como la ciudad más segura de la Nación. La
Península de Yucatán es reconocida mundialmente por su hospitalidad, su
cultura Maya (el sitio arqueológico de Chichén-Itzá fue declarado
Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO), sus tradiciones (folclor,
gastronomía, música) y sus bellezas naturales (componente importante del
Sistema Arrecifal Mesoamericano).
