[Coral-List] MMMPA project

Dear Coral-list members,



I will present you an European Project named Monitoring Mediterranean
Marine Protected Areas (MMMPA), a Marie Curie Initial Training Network
(FP7/2007-2013, Grant Agreement n°  290056).



MMMPA aims to train the next generation of MPA scientists and managers,
equipping them with a flexible set of skills essential within a wide range
of professional environments, including public administration, local
authorities, industry and academia. The consortium includes several
Universities, marine protected areas, enterprises and one research Centre
in four countries of the Mediterranean Sea. Currently, a number of PhD
students and researchers are studying different aspects of the marine
environment and carrying out their researches in several Mediterranean
marine protected areas.
