8th International Conference on Coelenterate Biology: (1-5 December 2013, Eilat Israel)

1.     Reduced registration fee
The 8th International Conference on Coelenterate Biology (ICCB 8) will award a special reduction of US$165 off the registration fee to 15 qualifying and selected (non-Israeli)
MSc or PhD students whose abstracts have been accepted for oral or poster presentation at the Conference.

To be eligible, you must:

  *   Be a senior author who will present the accepted abstract at the ICCB8.


  *   Have completed your registration prior to 25 August 2013 (ICCB8 will refund 50% of the registration fee).


  *   Provide a written request for support to the Conference Chair (yehudab at tauex.tau.ac.il<mailto:yehudab at tauex.tau.ac.il>), stating that your presentation will contribute significant value to the conference.


  *   Submit a letter of recommendation from your advisor or department head.


  *   Submit authorization of your student status, with indication of the level of your studies.

Approval will be announced on 25 September 2013

2.     Student presentation awards
All students presenting an oral paper or poster at the ICCB8 may apply for a student best presentation award. Awards will be given by the journal ZOOLOGY and the Interuniversity Institute for Marine Sciences (IUI) – Eilat.
To be eligible, you must:

  *   Be a sole author or lead author who will present the accepted abstract at the ICCB8.


  *   Have completed your registration, including payment, prior to 25 August 2013


  *   Provide a short (200 words or less) explanation of your contribution to the work described and its significance, by the submission deadline of 25 August, 2013.



  *   Submit authorization of your student status, with indication of the level of your studies.

  2.  Cannot be presenting in a symposia.

Travel and presentation award applications use the same online submission form. Submit only one application, even if you are applying for multiple awards.
Awards will be made based on quality of both research and presentation. Presentation Awards have a limit of once per lifetime. Students may receive both a research award and a travel award in the same year.
Students presenting a poster or oral paper at the ICCB8 may apply for both a reduced registration fee and a student presentation award.
