We use XEROX Premium never tear 8.5 x 11"  3.7 mil polyester paper, product number 3R12414.

It works fine in our printers, although you don't want to print too many copies of something in one go, pencils or pens write on it just fine and it is pretty much water proof, tear-proof and otherwise invincible.  A box of 100 sheets costs $42.05 which I believe is a bit cheaper than some of the other alternatives mentioned so far.
