[Coral-List] What has happened to UN coverage of small island developing states?

This year marks the 3rd International UN conference on small island developing states in Sept 2014 in Samoa.

Yet the premier UN backed site for SIDS called SIDSNet at www.sidsnet.org is GONE,  see http://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/index.php?menu=203 and click on SIDSNet link!!

And no modalities for the un conference have been worked out yet see www.sids2014.org to see for yourselves!

Have islands and related issues been relegated to less important and stripped of funding?
