Dear colleagues,

At your attention, another new interesting coral taxonomical paper.  It is remarkable as result of 30 years of fieldwork on the smallest among free-living mushroom corals discovered so far, which are very difficult to identify because they show relatively few distinguishing characters and much ecophenotypic variation:

Hoeksema BW (2014) The “Fungia patella group” (Scleractinia, Fungiidae) revisited with a description of the mini mushroom coral Cycloseris boschmai sp. n. ZooKeys 371: 57–84. doi: 10.3897/zookeys.371.6677
