Hi David

That's a good suggestion from John. There has been a huge amount of work on this topic over the last 50 years. Note the word 'invasions' is not really correct. Crown of thorns are naturally present on Indo-Pacific reefs (not Caribbean) and are not introduced exotics (like say lion fish in the Caribbean). However who knows - they may be invasive in the Caribbean one day - let's hope not.
