please take a look at session 66 - HUMAN-NATURAL COUPLED REEF SYSTEMS: INTEGRATING INDIGENOUS AND WESTERN SCIENCES FOR SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS
at the 13th annual ICRS meetings (http://sgmeet.com/icrs2016/default.asp) in Hawaii June 19-24.  We are inviting abstracts to this session with a focus on combining western and indigenous scientific approaches and knowledge in reef systems where indigenous people are integral to those systems.
