*CORAL RESTORATION FOUNDATIONEXECUTIVE DIRECTOR*

*KEY LARGO, FLORIDA*

*Background*

Founded in 2007, Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF), based in Key largo,
Florida, is a fast growing $1.2M nonprofit conservation organization with
nine staff and 15 Board members dedicated to protecting and restoring
threatened coral reefs. CRF began actively restoring reefs in the Florida
Keys in 2003, using effective and affordable techniques. With over a
decade of experience, CRF is a demonstrated leader in creating new nursery
and restoration techniques that are now implemented worldwide.

CRF is expanding internationally—coral nurseries have been established in
Bonaire, Curacao, Jamaica, Mustique, and Colombia. The success and
interest from the other Caribbean nations to have CRF assist them in
creating their own coral restoration programs led to the incorporation of
Coral Restoration Foundation International (CRFI) in 2014. CRFI is a
separate 501c3 that contracts with CRF resulting in a supportive, symbiotic
relationship of the sister organizations. The long-term vision may include
CRFI becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of CRF.

*Position*

Reporting to the Board of Directors while working collaboratively with the
President and Chief Development Officer, the Executive Director (ED) will
have overall strategic and operational responsibility for CRF staff,
programs and execution of its mission. The ED will manage, develop and
expand core programs, operations, and strategic planning. The position is
located in Key Largo, Florida, home to the CRF office and education center.

*Opportunity*

Coral Restoration Foundation has tripled in size over the last three
years. This is due to escalating interest in CRF’s innovative and
results-driven approach. This is a rare opportunity for an
incoming Executive Director to grow an entrepreneurial grassroots
organization into a conservation powerhouse, known as *the *go-to for coral
restoration.
