Coral Colleagues -

On February 3, 2015, NOAA published a Notice of Intent (NOI) to initiate
the development of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the potential
expansion of the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary in the
northern Gulf of Mexico.

Comments related to this proposed action are requested and must be received
by *April 6, 2015*.

Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary contain some of the least
impacted coral reefs in the entire Caribbean and western Atlantic region.
The potential expansion areas include additional coral reefs and
significant mesophotic coral communities.
