[Coral-List] Bracing for the Ministry of Truth

Hi All,  

Perhaps it would be good to point out just how costly it would be not to train the next generation of scientists.  After all, science and technology are a major part of being real competitors in the global marketplace.   Since the incoming administration seems to be largely business-minded, arguments should focus largely on the economic impacts of these decisions while also explaining the environmental impacts.
