Hello Coral Listers,

The deadline for the 2016 CORAL Conservation Prize has been extended. Be
sure to nominate someone for this incredible honor no later than Friday,
June 17, 2016 at 5:00pm Pacific Time to ensure they are eligible to win.

The Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL) invites you to nominate local coral reef
heroes for the third annual CORAL Conservation Prize. The prize offers a
unique opportunity to recognize leaders in coral reef conservation around
the world. It aims to support outstanding local coral reef conservation
efforts, provide a platform to highlight coral reefs within local,
national, and international media, and provide incentives for continued
work in all regions of the world.

Please consider nominating an individual or local group leader whose
specific focus is on locally-based efforts, and who has made significant
progress with specific milestones and successes.

The CORAL Conservation Prize committee will choose one winner and will
award a cash prize of $20,000 that CORAL will apportion between the winner
and the group that he or she represents, if any, after consultation with
the winner. The winner will be flown to San Francisco, California for a
celebratory ceremony on September 23, 2016, where they can share stories
and key learnings about their work and successes.

More information about the prize, nomination criteria, and the nomination
form can be found at www.coral.org/prize. Nominations are due by June 17,
2016 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific time.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
Madhavi
