Good morning,

Does anyone have any information about *Olindias phosphorica *(Cigar jelly)
in the Caribbean and/or the Florida Keys? I haven't found any information
yet to suggest that it is native in this range. This past week I had two
encounters with the species (one painful for me and one painful for a
co-worker). One medusa was caught on Cudjoe Key and two medusae were
caught on Big Pine Key, both on BPK were in the same location. Please let
me know if anyone is interested in more detail about their locations. Also,
please let me know if there is a more appropriate list serve for this
question/information.

Thank you.
