I am absolutely delighted with this choice! I cannot think of anyone more deserving! Jack has seriously transformed coral reef science through his persistent and highly effective work on reef fish ecology and systematics. 

Congratulations to Jack on a very well-deserved life-time achievement Darwin Medal award, and to the Committee for this brilliant selection!
