Dear colleagues,

I got this from the GEOBON network, so forwarding it to anyone I think may be involved … please respond directly and forward it to anyone else you think might be relevant.

Please don’t respond to me!!

regards,

3.       The CEOS' Moderate Resolution Sensor Interoperability initiative launched a survey in which you are invited to take part. You can find below the full invitation.

Dear CEOS colleagues,
The USGS CEOS Chair initiated the Moderate Resolution sensor Interoperability (MRI) initiative to address the CEOS strategic objective to support complementarity and compatibility among the increasing number of Earth observing systems in the moderate (10-100m) resolution class.
The MRI Framework being prepared for presentation at this year’s CEOS Plenary identifies issues that need to be considered for the successful implementation of multi-sensor interoperable time series. Core to the Framework are case studies that demonstrate the implementation of multi-sensor time series.
This survey (link below) seeks to gather examples of good practices and lessons learned in regard to multi-sensor interoperable time series.

The survey should only take 5 to 10 minutes to complete, and responses would be very much appreciated. Inputs will be used to inform the Framework and the discussion at CEOS Plenary, and the final open question provides an opportunity for respondents to highlight references, presentations, or published papers related to interoperability.
Thank you in advance for your participation.
