Coral-List,
My just-completed M.S. thesis is entitled Electrolysis, halogen oxidizing
agents and reef restoration: https://www.researchgate.net/p
ublication/318685024_Electrolysis_halogen_oxidizing_agents_
and_reef_restoration Its most important finding is a new hypothesis
regarding an additional biological mode of action for electrolytic reef
restoration technologies: In open systems in nature, a wide array of
diffuse follow-on reaction products from weak DC seawater electrolysis may
benefit macrobiota indirectly via inactivation of microscopic pathogens and
competitors, or by other improvements to water quality, at concentrations
too low to harm larger, ecotoxicologically less-vulnerable organisms. Your
comments are welcomed.
Thank you, John
