Dear colleagues, please spread this around your networks ...

This MOOC was started last year by the Future Ocean group at Kiel University/GEOMAR and is linked to the SDG Academy. It attracted over 4000 students in its first year, and this year is hoping for many more. It is a first rate overview of global ocean issues, and a primer on science-policy issues at the centre of the UN Ocean Conference in New York last week.
I strongly encourage any university (undergraduate and graduate) students, government or NGO staff working in coastal/ocean issues, business/corporate leaders, teachers/instructors and the interested public to take the course!
Happy studies …
David Obura
