Dear coral-listers,

Valeriano Parravicini and I have a PhD opportunity to study how repeated climate impacts are influencing ecosystem processes in the Pacific. The PhD will use aquarium experiments and field observations in Moorea, French Polynesia, to determine drivers of specific ecosystem processes, that can then be used to parameterise long-term dynamics in these processes through multiple disturbances across a range of Pacific coral reef systems. The PhD will be based between the Lancaster Environment Centre, UK, and the École Pratique des Hautes Études, France.

Funding is available for EU (inc UK) nationals only.

Deadline for applications is 30th June. Start date for PhD is 1st October 2017.

Further details and how to apply can be found here: http://www.lancaster.ac..uk/sci-tech/downloads/phd_335.pdf

Thanks,

Nick
