[Coral-List] Postdoctoral Research Fellow Position

Dear Coral-List,

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the position of
Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Reef Ecology Lab, National University
of Singapore (consistently ranked among the world's top 30 universities and
Asia's top 2 universities).

The Research Fellow will work on a new project "Using molecular and
paleoecological methods to discover temporal and spatial ecological
variations between two coral reef systems in the Indo-Pacific" with Oren
Levy and Danwei Huang. This is a 3-year interdisciplinary research project
comprising multiple themes, including coral biology, experimental ecology,
palaeoecology and geochemistry.

Applicants for this position must possess a PhD and be keen to develop a
highly productive research career. SCUBA diving proficiency essential
(Rescue Diver desirable). Applicants should have a strong publication
record for their career stage; additional competencies include
independence, leadership, excellent statistical and analytical skills,
outstanding writing abilities, and the capacity to work with a diverse
group of scientists. This is a full-time position over 2.5 years. Singapore
citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply. Salary range is
from 55,000 to 80,000 Singapore Dollars per year depending on
qualifications and experience. Singapore has a low tax environment.
