Dear Coral-Listers,

We are recruiting a postdoc to work on a European Research Council funded project examining the contributions fisheries can make to food and nutrition security, with a focus on small-scale fisheries and coral reefs. We are looking for someone to explore the ecological determinants of nutritional quality in fish, currently and under increasing anthropogenic pressure, and consequently the implications for human health.

This project is based at Lancaster University, and led by Dr Christina Hicks. This part of the project is in collaboration with Dr Aaron MacNeil at Dalhousie University, Dr Andrew Thorne-Lyman at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and myself. The candidate will thus have a strong and multidisciplinary base to draw on.

The job advert is here, with 3 documents to download describing the position, and the personal specs we are looking for- https://hr-jobs.lancs.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?ref=A2338).

Applications are due by Monday 6th August

Best,

Nick
