Nova Southeastern University (NSU), the ninth largest private not-for-profit university in the United States, has outstanding programs and research. To support this exiting and dynamic environment, NSU invites applications for the position of Diving Safety Officer.
The Diving Safety Officer manages all aspects of the NSU Scientific Diving Program and ensures that all NSU sponsored scientific (research) diving activities are carried out in an effective and safe manner in accordance with NSU policy, state and federal regulations, as well as with the American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS) standards for scientific diving. The DSO will be based at the Ocean Campus in Dania Beach, Florida.
