*Postdoctoral Fellow in Assisted Evolution in Corals*
We are seeking a highly motivated, independent but team-oriented
postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in coral reproduction and
husbandry.


The successful candidate will join the CoralSymbiomics group at the Red Sea
Research Center of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology
(KAUST) to work on selective breeding studies in corals. Qualified
candidates must have a Ph.D. in Biology or Marine Biologyand be experienced
in fieldwork and coral breeding. Candidates with experience in designing and
conducting large-scale coral breeding experiments will be favored.


The position will be initially for 2 years with an option to extend further
depending on performance. It includes a highly competitive tax-free salary,
accommodation, yearly repatriation allowance, and health insurance.


The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is a public
research university located in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. KAUST’s core campus is
located directly on the Red Sea on more than 36 square kilometers
encompassing state-of-the-art research facilities as well as housing and
recreational facilities for the campus community. More information is
