The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS) via Florida
International University is recruiting one or two temporary staff to
support our Mooring Buoy Program in the Florida Keys! Details are below.

*Position Title: *Temporary Marine Operations Technician

*Job Summary: * The Temporary Marine Operations Technician works as part of
the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS) Buoy Team in Key Largo
or Key West to fabricate, install and maintain boundary, information, zone
and mooring buoy systems.

*Minimum Qualifications: *

   - High School Diploma or GED is required and 6 years of relevant work
   experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or
   experience.
   - Rescue Diver SCUBA certification or higher from a nationally
   recognized agency or military.
   - Fifty (50) logged open water dives.
   - Experience working on and operating boats.

*Advertised Salary*:$23.00 - $26.25 per hour
