[Coral-List] SCTLD and Butterflyfishes

We have previously discussed the various means by which SCTLD could be spreading.

I have just recently returned from Bonaire where protocols are in place (affecting divers) in an attempt to stop the spread of this disease. I have often wondered whether or not marine life could possibly serve as vectors of this disease.

This study examines the relationship between butterflyfish and stony coral tissue loss disease.
