Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala/ India

India will host the seventh International Jellyfish Blooms Symposium
(JBS7). JBS7 is hosted jointly by the University of Kerala, Department of
Aquatic Biology & Fisheries, India, and Indian Council of Agricultural
Research (ICAR) Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI). The
JBS7 is scheduled at Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), the capital city of
Kerala. JBS-7 will be an opportunity to share and learn about current and
future research on jellyfish in different parts of the globe, consolidate
knowledge on the subject, and discuss innovations to address questions for
future research and collaborations. The seventh edition of the symposium
will be an opportunity to focus on outreach connecting ocean science with
sustainability in the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for
Sustainable Development (2021-2030).
