A coral-list subscriber once pointed out to me the concept of
"academic suicide," in which a student was obviously asking questions
of coral-list that could be found in basic invertebrate zoology texts
and in the library. The concept is that many professors and
instructors also subscribe to this list, and that he or she is going to
notice that you're trying to get others to do your research for you.
