<html><div style='background-color:'><P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt; FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma">Dear listers.<BR><BR>Just a short notice to document coral spawning on <EM>Montastraea annularis</EM>, <EM>Diploria strigosa </EM>and <EM>Eusmilia fastigiata </EM>at Santa Marta (Colombia) on the evening of Sunday September 5, 2004 at approximately 9:30 hr (local time), water temperature 27 C. No signs of spawning were documented in the water during routine underwater research activities on Friday 3 y Saturday 4 during the night.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt; FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma">The observations were made by a team of researchers and volunteer divers from Bucea Colombia Foundation (<A href="http://www.buceacolombia.org">www.buceacolombia.org</A>) under the Santa Marta's Coral Spawning Observation project. The underwater research activities will be carry out next octuber and november. Hope we can provide you with data again.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
