Spawning Curacao

Hello Coral Spawning Fans, 

Coral Spawning observations from Curacao, Netherlands Antilles 1996 

Reefs on Curacao were monitored on with Reef Care Volunteers: 
August 30 through September 2 from 21.00 - 22.15 pm 
August 31 & September 1 from 16.00 - 17.00 pm 
September 3 through September 5 from 19.30 - 23.00 pm

This is the 6th consecutive year we are monitoring the spawning on 
Curacao. Never before we saw so little spawning in either one of the 
months of this `split-spawning-event'. May be a consequence of last 
years bleaching! A major spawning is expected from 2 to 4 October.   

Observations from Aruba, Bonaire and Saba are pending.
