Graduate fellowships available

The University of South Alabama invites applications for their graduate
program in Marine Sciences.  Several Masters and Ph.D fellowships are
available that include a stipend and tuition. The deadline is April 1,
1998.   The research areas of the faculty include, fisheries science,
biomechanics, chemical oceanography, biological oceanography, 
zooplankton
ecology, coral reef ecology, seagrass ecology, invertebrate 
reproduction,
invertebrate biology, trophic ecology, wetlands ecology, 
biogeochemistry,
nutrient dynamics of estuarine systems, evolution and paleoecology of 
coral
reefs.
        The student will spend the majority of their time at the Dauphin 
Island
Sea Lab.
