Hi

I am the director of a new field based marine studies course in Australia
called College at Sea. This course/program will be offered for the first
time in July and August 2002, with students living and working for 7 weeks
adjacent to the various marine habitats of Australia's Great Barrier Reef
and Coral Sea.

The 5 topics the course will cover are; Tropical Marine Ecosystems,
Oceanography, Nutrient Dynamics, Remote Sensing and Marine Navigation
(celestial and modern). The course also includes the students navigating
and sailing a 100ft sailing schooner through the Central Great Barrier
Reef.

For more information on this exciting course please visit our web site:
www.collegeatsea.marine.uq.edu.au or send me an email and I can forward
you a brochure that outlines the course.

Thanks and have a great Christmas!

James
