coral protein estimation

Dear all,

In Battey and Porter (1988) who work on Montastrea annularis protein
contents, B. Chalker suggests that the bovin serum albumin they have used as
standard underestimates protein per unit area by 33 %, but no other
explanations must be added.

Because I use the BSA as a standard too, any informations would be very
appreciated.
