The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority is looking for a capable 
and effective Manager of Technical Operations at its Reef HQ facility in 
Townsville.

Reef HQ is the Authority's principal public education tool and consists 
of a public aquarium with the world's largest living coral reef on land.

The Technical Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering 
Reef HQ's public education programs by managing its living exhibits and 
engineering/maintenance operations.

The right person for the job will be:

    * An achievement-oriented Manager with a practical, hands on style;
    * An effective team leader with good communication skills;
    * Experienced with living exhibitions and/or building and
      engineering works;
    * Willing and able to participate in fieldwork including SCUBA
      diving; and
    * Capable of delivering agreed outcomes on time and to budget.
