Coral Bleaching Warning for Glovers, Belize

Anomalously high sea surface temperatures (SSTs) have been developing
over most of the Caribbean Sea since late August.

The SST at Glovers, Belize has been creeping up above the summertime
maximum monthly mean SST since mid-August and now exceeds the level of
bleaching threshold.

DHW has started to accumulate at Glovers and is a little over 1 DHW now.
Bleaching is most likely already present in the area.
