The University of Guam solicits applications to establish a list of eligibles for Assistant Professor to Associate Professor (Corals / Coral Reef Biologist) at the University's Marine Laboratory.  Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field from a U.S. accredited institution or foreign equivalent, a strong record of research as evidenced by recent grants and refereed publications in scientific journals, and ability to teach graduate level courses.  Preference will be given to investigators with an established research record in corals / coral reef biology.  The successful candidate is expected to: 1) teach and advise graduate (M.S. degree) students; 2) obtain extramural grants and maintain a continuous record of scholarly activity; and 3) perform university and community service.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience relevant to the positions.  The following salary figures are for twelve (12) months: Assistant Professor ($44,599 - $65,995 Per Annum) or Associate Professor($51,090 - $77,099 Per Annum).
