My recent message went out while I was still working on it...sometimes 
I don't seem to be in total control of this email program!

As it escaped I was changing my last sentence as follows:  that 
regardless of what you think of the specific status of the 
small-polyped M. annularis complex, if you keep a record of the gross 
morphology of the monitored colonies, someday the information might 
come in handy as, for example, would occur if they responded 
differently to some future disturbance.
