I am one of Japanese ReefCheck coordinators.
You might want to have a look at Henoko, north east of Okinawa mainland, Japan.
We have been doing Reefcheck survey since 1998 around the area,
and we can see clear decline of live coral coverage after the 1998 bleaching
and another one in 2001. We have some photos as well.
