[Coral-List] CRTF Meeting in December

U.S. Coral Reef Task Force will be hosted by the Department of the
Interior

The next meeting of the U.S. Coral Reef Task Force (USCRTF) will be held

December 2 and 3, 2004, at the Intercontinental Hotel, 100 Chopin Plaza,
Miami, Florida (1-800-327-3005).

There will also be a series of Task Force sponsored workshops.

Saturday, November 20th:  - Coral Reef Teacher Training Workshop
(attendance by invitation)

Wednesday, December 1st:  - Concurrent Workshop 1: Sustainable Diving
and Snorkeling Practices (afternoon, times TBD)

Saturday, December 4th:  - Concurrent workshop 2: Improving Science and
Management of Florida's Coral Reef Ecosystems (8:30 am to 3 pm)
Concurrent workshop 3: Damage Assessment and Restoration Protocols for
Coral Reef Habitats (3:30 pm to 5:30 pm)

The USCRTF meeting is open to the public.  There will be opportunity for
public comment during the meeting.

Exhibit space is also available for organizations involved in coral
reef-related activities.  Exhibit space will be allocated on a
first-come, first served basis.  Advance registration is required to
reserve exhibit space.

Meeting attendees are requested to register, or re-register if you had
registered for the previously scheduled September meeting at
http://www.ces.fau.edu/taskforce.
