[Coral-List] coral populations

I am monitoring populations of Mussa angulosa and Eusmilia fastigiata in Cartagena, Colombia.  Eusmilia is common but most of the colonies have between 40 and 50% of their ramets dead.Live colonies of Mussa are rarely seen, but skeletons of big colonies can be observed. How are the populations of these species elsewhere in the Caribbean?
