REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Hawaii Coral Reef Initiative Research Program, University of Hawaii 
is issuing a call for proposals for its FY05-06 project cycle.  About 
$800,000 is expected to be available for research and monitoring 
activities, pending availability of funds.  Optional Letters of Intent 
are due 2/10/05.  Proposals are due 4:00 p.m. HST 3/28/05.

3.	Status of Coastal Reefs surrounding the main Hawaiian Islands
4.	Population and Oceanographic Dynamics of Coastal Reefs 
surrounding the main Hawaiian Islands
5.	 Regulatory Review
6.	 “Gaming”  the main Hawaiian Islands’ Coastal Reefs
