[Coral-List] Zooxanthellae isolation

Dear all:

I'm trying to set up Symbiodinium cultures from zooxanthellae that were 
extracted from corals in the field. I find it hard to isolate the 
extracted zooxanthellae from other microorganisms that are present in 
the samples (such as diatoms).

Does anyone know if there are any (relatively easy) techniques to do this?
