The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Florida Gulf
Coast University (FGCU) announce two regular, full-time, positions in the
FDEP Coral Reef Conservation Program (CRCP) based in Miami, Florida. 

 

The CRCP promotes and coordinates research, monitoring, partnerships, and
stakeholder participation for the conservation of southeast Florida's reefs.
The CRCP is developing and supporting the state's efforts through Florida's
membership on the U.S. Coral Reef Task Force including planning, directing
and coordinating the implementation of Florida's Local Action Strategy: the
Southeast Florida Coral Reef Initiative. For information about the Initiative

The Awareness & Appreciation Project Coordinator and the Land-based Sources
of Pollution Project Coordinator will provide technical assistance and
programmatic support to the CRCP and coordinate the planning and
implementation of local action strategy projects identified in Southeast
Florida Coral Reef Initiative.
