   Major Duties
   Serves  as aqu   Pacific Island Netwo   identify  and analyze relev   role  in  assisting the Network to    water-related inventories, monitoring, an   research programs. May oversee technicians and    perform  aquatic  ecology  and  water  quality  monitoring.   cooperators  of  staff  in  Network  National Parks to assist in perf   orming  some  monitoring  activities.  Determines  and  documents  the
   significanc   reports regarding the    activities.  Summarizes  new  a   scientists,  managers,  Network  and  park  s   partners.  In  cooperation  with appropriate staff from    parks,  WRD,  researchers  and others, designs, develops, tests,    implements  scientific monitoring protocols to identify, evaluate, and
   c   writes    of   monitoring   credible   protection,   mitig   Establishes  and  maintains  professional  cont   essential  liaison  services  between  the  Network,  includin   constituent  parks, and WRD, the regional I&M coordinator, other N   networks,  and  key staff members of other federal, state, territorial
   and   research  and  i   agreements,  contracts, or    serves as the Contracting Officer   Representative,  or  Key  Official  for  pro   contracts, interagency agreements, and cooperative
