POST DOC – Spatially Explicit Population and Community Modeling

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s, Office of Research and
Development, National Health and Environmental Effects Research
Laboratory, Gulf Ecology Division in Gulf Breeze, Florida, is seeking a
qualified post-doctoral candidate to join our research team in
developing spatially structured models of fish populations in the Gulf
of Mexico and coral reef communities in South Florida.  This is a 3 year
appointment, and applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in
environmental, biological, or engineering sciences. Examples of
appropriate experience include spatially-explicit population and
community modeling, GIS, geostatistics, and advanced statistics.
Successful applicants should be interested in integrating their work
within a collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment to
address environmental management-driven research objectives.
