Dear all,
I would like to announce an opening for a postdoctoral researcher,
based in the School of Biology & Psychology, Division of Biology.
You will join Dr John Bythells laboratory

the impact of bleaching on disease susceptibility and defence in reef
building corals for a period of 3 yrs in the first instance. You
should have a PhD or equivalent in Biological, Biomedical or
Environmental Sciences and a background in coral reef ecology,
cellular biology, microbiology and molecular biology. You should have
experience of scuba diving, preferably qualified to advanced level and
the ability to plan, organise, manage and execute field and laboratory
studies, as well as the ability to maintain a safe working environment
and manage health and safety requirements for field and laboratory
work for all involved. Boat handling skills and related qualifications
are desirable.
