Dear all, My name is Claire-Emmanuelle Bue. I am currently in Malaysia (Sabah), where I have just finished an internship with a shrimp farm company, and where I am finishing my PADI Divemaster course. During my diverse dives I have been impressed with the variety of colours, numbers, and size, etc of the nudibranch populations in this area of the Celebes Sea. I am diving in the area of Sipadan and Mabul (out of Semporna) and find very interesting the differences found between the nudibranch populations on the artificial and natural reefs. I often dive in Mabul, an island where there are some successful artificial reefs and I find it intriguing to observe the differences with the nudibranchs found on normal reefs. I have developed some skills in underwater photography and nudibranchs are my favorite subject. I succesfully completed a Master degree of Aquaculture at University of Stirling and am really interested on continuing my study with a PhD. One of the topics I am really interested in would be the difference between population of nudibranchs on artificial and natural reefs. I was wondering if you know of anyone who could be interested on this area of research or of any PhD available on this topic? I emailed you as I know you are experts in (and have a keen interest in) nudibranchs. As I was working in Malaysia, I made some contacts who could help me locally during any research (if it could be conducted here), but I would need a supervisor and some funding. I attached my CV for your interest.Best regards.ManueClaire-Emmanuelle BUE
