Dear Coral List Members,

I am a Ph.D. student in NY and I am planning to rear coral polyps in
artificial seawater (Instant Ocean), for an extended period of time (up to 6
months). I am studying corals infected with symbiotic algae and comparing
them with those not infected. To keep the non-infected corals alive, I need
to supply nutrients. Is brine shrimp nauplii addition the best method, or
are there other, better, alternatives tested? Also, do I need to add any
nutrients (NO3, NH4, etc) in addition to brine shrimp?

Best regards,

Daniel M. Poland
