[Coral-List] Whale shark research and management in the Mesoamerican Region

After a request of numerous stakeholders (researchers, MPA managers, whale
shark touroperators) of the Mesoamerican Region, The Nature Conservancy
Mesoamerican Reef Program, in conjunction with the Wildlife Conservation
Society and Friends of Nature (Belize) held a workshop entitled
“Whale shark tourism management: exchanging information, networking and
developing guidelines for best practices in the Mesoamerican Reef Region”
in Placencia, Belize, on September, 2006.
