[Coral-List] New PhD opportunity for UK students

Applications are welcomed for a new PhD scholarship, funded by the UK
Natural Environment Research Council, to start in October 2007. The project
examines the effects of climate change and regional variation on demographic
processes in Caribbean parrotfishes. The student will be based at the
University of Exeter but will also spend time at the partnering institution,
the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Sciences (with Dr Nick
Dulvy).

Applicants must be UK citizens (or, if EU citizens, have UK residency or
have spent the past 3 years at a UK University). Applicants should have a
good masters degree in fisheries and/or ecological science, ideally have
some practical field experience, and have a minimum diving qualification of
PADI Divemaster or equivalent. Further details are available at:
