Dear all,

A very good hint of the future way to go in terms of open access to academic publications can be found at:

http://www.driver-community.eu
http://www.tilburguniversity.nl/services/lis/driver-population.html
http://www.driver-support.eu/en/studies.html

Add this to the efforts by Creative Commons and the Open Source Code and License community online and you will understand that (specialized publication) publishing old style is going out of business!

It is no coincidence that Rupert Murdoch and AOL have joined the war over Yahoo in order to compete with search engine and open source champion Google! (see Washington Post under Technology News)

At stake is who is going to control just that: the internet infrastructure for such open access repositories of virtually everything digital!!

Regards
