There are data on Diadema densities for Dancing Lady Reef from before
and after Hurricane Allen, urchin die-offs, benthic algal blooms,
acroporid disease, slight acroporid recovery, subsequent acroporid
destruction by massed predators, and recent recovery of Diadema.

I'm not sure what among these data are available at the lab. Ask
Peter Gayle, who will also be deciding the level of diving
proficiency of the team and how well it matches various available
study sites. Work on the reef crest and inside Discovery Bay would
be particularly interesting, and there are some back data for Damsel
Gardens on the east inside of the Bay. That is probably the best and
safest place for this kind of enterprise.
